NEW FOR 5TH AND 6TH GRADE – EVALUATIONS
All 5th and 6th graders will need to come to one of the two evaluation dates below.  The girs will be evaluated on their abilities in the following areas:  passing, hitting, overhand serving, foot movement, and court awareness.  The evaluations are intended to evenly divide the rec teams and to idenify advanced players that will be offered an opportunity to participate on a Travel Team(s).  The players that participate on the Travel Team(s) will also participate on a rec team.  The Travel Team(s) will include additional games and will have a $40 additional cost.  all players need to register for the recreational league through S.P.O.R.T.S. and then sign-up at evaluations if interested in the Travel Team(s).  Depending on the interest, the Travel Team(s) may play other north side volleyball teams.  If you cannot make one of the two evaluation dates then you will not qualify for the Travel Team(s).

REGISTER EARLY TO BE GUARANTEED A SPOT!
Registration for girls volleyball begins on May 1.  Due to limited gym space, the league will once again need to limit the number of teams for the upcoming season.  Once capacity has been reached, registration will close and a waitlist will be started.

The Volleyball board is seeking volunteers.  There are a variety of open positions with varying time commitments.  The season is ten weeks long, from mid-August to mid-October and ends before fall break.  If you are interested or have questions, please contact Janet Berg at f.j.berg@sbcglobal.net.
