Get to know your Fishers St. Vincent Sports Performance Physicians
Dr. Dan Ordaz is a sports medicine physician and the team physician for Heritage Christian Schools and medical director for the Geist Half-Marathon. He has provided medical coverage for Butler University and Marian University athletics, Big Ten basketball and football tournaments, and multiple USA Track and Field events. As an avid runner and endurance athlete, he has a special interest in evaluating and managing running injuries.
Dr. Bree Simmons has been the team physician for Guerin Catholic High School sports since 2012. During her career, she was a team physician for USA Gymnastics and has provided medical coverage for sporting events at the local, national, and international levels. This includes the NCAA Women's Basketball Final Four, Big Ten Basketball Tournament, and 2016 US Women's Gymnastics Olympic Trials. Dr. Simmons is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, and American Academy of Family Physicians.
