If you missed the callout meeting in December, there is still time to register for the Southeastern Rugby Club’s spring 2012 season. Our club plays in one of the fastest growing team sports in America and one of the most popular sports in the world. Mixing the best of soccer, football, and basketball, rugby is a fun, safe, exciting sport played in more than 90 countries today; with the Rugby World Cup the third most watched sporting event worldwide. Rugby in the U.S.A. has been growing steadily and there are now over 60,000 registered players in America, with over 70 teams located in Indiana alone. You will love this fast action, non-stop, full contact game.
The club will have teams for 5th and 6th grade boys, 7th and 8th grade boys, high school boys and girls 7th through 12th grade. No experience necessary. There is a dedicated and experienced coaching staff, and a policy that everyone plays. Rugby requires endurance, toughness and teamwork like no other sport. The best part is that everyone has the chance to carry the ball and score!
