General Information
S.P.O.R.T.S. (Southeastern Program of Recreational Team Sports) is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing youth in the Hamilton Southeastern community with the opportunity to participate in recreational and competitive team sports that promote character development, leadership and physical fitness.
We enable the various youth sports member organizations a means of communication, administration and coordination of efforts, including fields and facility block scheduling.S.P.O.R.T.S. and the Member Leagues provide an invaluable service to the Hamilton Southeastern Community. The following (in no particular order) is a partial listing of some of the more notable services:
- S.P.O.R.T.S. maintains an office at 12690 Promise Road, Fishers. Our office hours are 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday – Friday (we are closed on Fridays, 11:30 – 1:00 p.m.) Voice mail and email messages are checked frequently throughout the day. League information can be obtained from the voice mail system and on our website, www.hsesports.org.
- S.P.O.R.T.S. publishes a newsletter two times a year and sends out a monthly e-newsletter.
- S.P.O.R.T.S. provides weekly information on youth league activities to the HSE Schools and local media.
- S.P.O.R.T.S. attends and provides information to the Town of Fishers, Park Advisory Committee.
- S.P.O.R.T.S. has authored and adopted a Code of Conduct that governs the conduct of participants, coaches and parents.
- S.P.O.R.T.S. has implemented a unified registration form and has created a master database of this information.
- S.P.O.R.T.S. has negotiated an insurance program that covers league general liability, and officers and directors liability.
- S.P.O.R.T.S. coordinates all field and facility scheduling for the Town of Fishers as well as coordinates league usage of HSE School Facilities.
- The Fishers Soccer Club has provided nearly $160,000 to the parks and schools for capital improvements in the last seven years
- The Fishers-Hamilton Southeastern Youth Baseball & Softball League has made donations of more than $150,000 in capital improvements to school and park fields including lighting Eller Road Park Fields and upgrades to Billericay Park
